In 2020 Beethoven celebrates his 250th Birthday. His native town of Bonn wants to and will celebrate this event appropriately in the new concert hall, satisfied with a new and unique Beethoven Festspielhaus on the Rhine.
The Deutsche Post DHL will provide around 30 million euros. Federal and state governments are supporting the project. However, civic commitment is needed. Our initiative aims to raise 25 million euros by donations. An ambitious goal, for which we need your support .

Donation to joy
The initiative " 5000 X 5000 ", launched by Bonn Chamber of Commerce President Wolfgang Grießl and friends, wants to motivate 5,000 Beethoven and Bonn Friends regionally and globally to donate 5,000 euros each for the construction of an acoustically and architecturally unique Bonn Beethoven Festspielhaus. Regardless of the amount, every donation and all participation is welcome! Smaller donations are combined into 5,000-euro blocks. This civic commitment is planned to mobilize a total of 25 million euros in addition to what has been already raised to build one of the two winning designs for the Festspielhaus .
